A Selfie That's Not A Selfie

This is my first blog post on my blog spot!  Over the weekend we were told to take a picture of yourself without it being an actual selfie! I contemplated how I could accomplish this and I began to think about stuff that defines me as a person. I love reading so for my first picture I wanted to show myself reading a book. I purposely picked a book with an eye on the cover because in the picture I'm just showing my eye. For my second picture I wanted to capture a picture of my eye showing because I really do believe in the saying "the eye is the window to the soul." In some eyes you can see brightness but in others you can see broken pieces. I wanted the viewer of my picture to be the judge and wonder what they see. What can you see through the window that leads to my soul?
