Abandoned

1. If I had to describe the relationship in one word it would be "abandoned."
2. In my drawing of the shell, I wanted to not include the shell in my picture. By doing this I decided to have an empty chair that sits alone in an empty room with dramatic shadows cast behind it. Nothing ever came for the chair.
3. For the size I wanted to not be close up, I wanted to show the viewer the dramatic shadows that the chair created. My view was as if someone had walked into an almost empty room with just one single chair waiting. I placed my light in front of the chair so you could see the intricate shapes the shadows created.
